This was the second time we've stayed here and both times have been perfect. The rooms are great and well themed. The breakfast the next morning is super yummy (especially the French Toast!) Best of all is the owner. Super accommodating and friendly. We will be staying here many more times and will continue to recommend it to our friends.

Wild Goose Inn is simply lovely. If you have visitors from out of town who enjoy a more boutique hotel or artsy experience, point them toward this hotel. I had the opportunity of visiting most of the guest rooms and they are all very different but equally clean and kept well. I felt that each room had a story and something extra special within (one room has access to a huge outdoor space, another has a castle-like bathtub area, etc). My favorite room is the Autumn Arbor located in the newer Gosling portion of Wild Goose. The shower area is huge and romantic, and the bed is out of this world - it's like sleeping in a tree! I've never seen a bed like that one before.

This is and has been one of the greatest places one can stay when you're on campus. This particular Bed and breakfast is nothing that i've been able to compare to. The owner of the bed and breakfast does a great job taking care of this property. Despite all the college partying this is a unique place to visit when you're on campus at Michigan State University. The one room we booked was the Winter eden. The winter eden has to be the best room. It features a jacuzzi (as other rooms do) room that has a little fireplace and probably the most privacy. It's one of the rooms on the second floor. Breakfast and service is first class here. The blueberry muffins are so delicious and fresh. The owner bakes them daily. The rooms are very clean as well. Be sure to book online and check out the virtual tour. It helps to figure out which room suits your tastes.

Beautiful place!!! I fell in love with the jacuzzi tub...Ours changed colors and had lights like little stars on the ceiling and a statue pouring out water. Fancy! Of course I had to try the shower too...Dual shower heads and two on the ceiling for a rainfall effect. Great owner. He was funny and friendly...perfect breakfast. Very welcoming place. The owner told us how he had moved the main house to that location...Kinda a cool little fact. :) I'd definitely go back. Kudos to my mom who found this for our girl's night.

How can you not love the Wild Goose Inn? I stayed here for two nights when I had a visit at Michigan State University. The inn is located right in downtown East Lansing so you can walk to anything you need. It's basically across the street from MSU. My room (Indian Summer) was cozy. I loved the fireplace - I was there in February! It heated the room up quickly. The bed was cozy and I had plenty of blankets. The bathroom was like a spa in and of itself. I had a two person Jacuzzi tub. Being the only person in the room meant I got to use the tub all to myself. It was a fantastic way to relax at the end of a long day. They have tea lights that surround the tub and matches for you. There is also a dish with bath salts for you to include if you would like. The shower was gigantic and had two shower heads! I loved the bath products that they used as well - very high quality. I only got to eat breakfast there once, and it was fine. Pretty straight forward. I'm not a big breakfast person to begin with. I just had some eggs with cheese and nothing more. Everyone who works there is very friendly and nice. I had an early flight out and hung out with the owner (at about 6:00 am!) in the kitchen while I was waiting for my ride and he was getting stuff ready for the day. Great place. Very laid back.

I came for my niece's graduation from MSU. The accommodations were awesome. I loved every part of the Inn, and the breakfast was delicious. I saved my muffin for the long trip home. If I ever plan to go back to E. Lansing, I will definitely stay at the Wild Goose Inn.

This place is just the best!! Have stayed here 7 or 8 times. All of the rooms are fun & different. The service is amazing. Breakfast is awesome. The innkeeper Al really takes care of the place and the guests. Probably the best part is the central location in EL..perfect place to stay for a quick getaway or after an event or night out!

The Wild Goose Inn is absolutely wonderful. Located in downtown East Lansing, you are just a short walk from the gorgeous MSU campus, restaurants, and shops. Being here in the summer, the inn has beautiful landscaping and outdoor sitting areas. After renting out the whole inn for our family the weekend of our wedding 10 years ago, it was a real treat to come back and visit again. The rooms are unique and well appointed. The bathroom in our Indian Summer room has a double shower head and two person tub with candles and bath salts. Breakfast was great! You start with muffins and fruit. You're able to choose from several items on the menu and we chose oatmeal with dried Michigan cherries and eggs with mushrooms. Delicious! We will come back for sure. You can't beat the location, friendliness of staff, and just all-round gorgeousness of the place.

A fantastic gem and the best place to stay in East Lansing. When I was doing comparative shopping for a place to stay close to MSU campus, the pricing of the Inn was comparable to established hotels if not cheaper (other hotel prices fluctuate, and the inn's is more fixed). On top of that, you get free Wi-Fi and a full hot breakfast made to order. Al the Innkeeper is very friendly and accommodating. Although the location is walkable to a dorm that we were moving into, because of our heavy luggages, Al had someone drove us to the dorm. One advice: If you do not see availability online, you may want to call.

This is the perfect place to stay in East Lansing. It is walking distance to everything you'd want to see on campus. The Inn Keeper is so incredibly friendly and hospitable. The rooms are clean and decorated in a unique, artistic way (each room has a different Michigan or season theme). A word to the wise: book in advance for busy seasons. You won't be able to get a room for homecoming, though. There is a group of alumni that come and rent it out every year. In addition, their breakfast service in the morning is perfect. The pricing may seem like a lot - but when you take into consideration all of the conveniences in terms of being able to walk to everything, as well as the free parking and breakfast, it is totally worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely go back in the future.

What a hidden gem right off the beaten path of downtown E. Lansing. The place was clean, comfy, charming, and very quiet. Our room had a gas fireplace, large whirlpool tub for 2, and beautifully appointed furnishings. The owner was friendly and the breakfast rocked with fresh fruit, home baked muffins, and eggs to order. Lovely! We'll be coming back.

The Wild Good Inn is a great place to stay when visiting MSU - it's right in East Lansing close to the campus. It has so much charm and character. The Inn Keeper was very welcoming, friendly and attentive to our needs. Each room has a specific theme. I'd highly recommend the Winter Eden room (it includes a gas fireplace and jazucci room). The bed was so comfortable and I loved how cozy it was. Your stay also includes a delicious breakfast w/ coffee.

I stayed here when I took the bar exam, and it was fantastic. The jacuzzis are really relaxing (so needed!) and you're walking distance from the exam location. I stayed in Summer Safari, and the decor was really fun, and they turned the fireplace on for me. Even the bathroom and shower are impressive - all lovely stone! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very friendly. There's a piano downstairs, too. This place makes me wish I had another reason to go to East Lansing.

Excellent accommodations! We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and loved it. The inn keeper and other employees are very nice and helpful. We loved our room (Winter Eden) and will definetly stay at the Inn again. The decor was themed but far from cheesy; it was tastefully done. Don't forget they offer free wi-fi. We added on a romantic package and was pleasently surprised at all you received in it. My husband loves Gouda cheese now! The skylights, jacuzzi and breakfast where my favorite things!
